    1. 11.00 Welcome and introductions. 

    2. 11.05 Session 1: Exploring degree classifications in 2019-20 Rowan Fisher from UUK, will present work from an upcoming publication exploring the increase in upper awards from the 2019-20 academic year. 

    This will cover how factors such as 'no detriment policies', 'safety nets' and the wider changes to teaching, learning and assessment may have influenced the results. This will be an interactive session where you can share your own institutional experience, focusing on the following two questions (in relation to degree outcomes): 
    • What was the impact of 'no detriment'/safety net policies? 
    • What was the impact of changes to teaching, learning and assessment? 

    3. 12. 00 Session 2: UK HEI approaches to aligning learning outcomes and assessment to assure quality and standards and promote positive student outcomes and progression during the pandemic year. 

    Liz Cleaver will be leading this session following up on her consultancy commissioned by the QAA and her survey previously circulated to the group. The session will focus on issues from an assessment perspective and will give colleagues an opportunity to feed into the review, whether or not you have completed the survey. This will be a great opportunity to share experiences and perspectives.

    5. 14.00 Session 3: Hot Topics: Your opportunity to share ideas and issues that are top of your agenda: Online exams? Virtual Exam Boards? Graduation? Changes to assessment? Regulatory changes? Reflections on operating assessment during a pandemic?
