Conference Programme and Social Events
Programme
The conference opens with a welcome event on the Sunday evening, with a focus in networking and is not just for new attendees.
Our key note speakers include:
- Zoe Radnor, Pro Vice Chancellor at Aston University and an expert in performance and process improvement and service management within public sector organisations
- Nick Hillman, Director of the Higher Education Policy Institute and a former Special Adviser in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills
- Daniel Snowden, Managing Director at Strive Higher with reflections on their work supporting universities with the development of target operating models.
- Nick Elston, an expert speaker on the lived experience of Mental Health.
- Monika Nangia, Academic Registrar at Durham on diversity in leadership in higher education.
- Charles Egbu, Vice Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University and the first black vice chancellor in the UK.
The conference dinner will take place on the Monday evening at a venue called Leeds Pinnacle. We will be keeping the more informal format of the evening that was successful at our Brighton Conference last year.

Social Events
We are currently developing some exciting social events for the conference and these will be announced on the website soon. As in previous years, the main conference will run on the Monday-Tuesday with welcome sessions on the Sunday evening. We can confirm a conference dinner will be held on Monday 4th November. This is included in our accommodation packages, or tickets can be purchased at an additional cost for those attending the conference on day rates. Full package details can be found below.
Early Bird Packages
There are a limited number of early bird packages available to members. Member institutions are eligible to select a maximum of one of these packages, subject to availability. If we receive multiple early bird bookings from the same institution, only one will be processed, and the rest will be invoiced at the regular member rate. Members of the ARC Executive are not eligible to register for these limited early bird places.
