Our inaugural Spring Conference for the Student Casework Practitioners’ Group is to be held on Friday 27th March.  The Conference will be held at Wills Hall*, University of Bristol.  It is a free event – food and refreshments will be provided.  (Participants will need to make their own travel and accommodation plans).  There is a maximum cap of around 80 participants so we may need to restrict the number attending from individual institutions if we get close to the maximum. 

 

This year, as promised, we are trialling two meetings online with one day-long in-person session.  We are hoping to enable a hybrid format for the key sessions to enable those of you unable to travel to Bristol to take part. 

 

We are putting the agenda together at the moment and this will follow.  The conference timings will be 9.30 – 4.30.  There will be sessions from:

·         The Office of the Independent Adjudicator

·         CMP Solutions – which provide a range of investigation services including training

·         Student Resolution Service (University of Bristol)

 

We are also hoping to be joined by Pinsent Masons for a Legal update and there will time built into the day for networking and discussing challenges/sharing good practice and solutions. 

*Wills Hall is a 15-20 minutes taxi ride from Bristol Temple Meads Station or there is free parking for 60 cars which should be booked in advance and is on a first come, first served basis
