    When things go wrong: Appeals, Complaints, and Misconduct.

    A full agenda for this meeting will appear here in due course, but in the meantime, it can be confirmed that the day will be made up of four core sessions:

    Morning:

    1. Colleagues for the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) are confirmed to speak to the group, focussing on PGR appeals and complaints. As with UKRI at the last meeting, there will be ample opportunity for questions and discussion.

    2. A workshop on handling appeals and complaints, facilitated by colleagues from the group.

    Afternoon:

    3. Prof. Tom Stoneham (University of York) will present on the differences between assessment and research misconduct, and handling the differences and intersections between the related policies and processes. 

    4. A session on resilience for case workers. Speaker / facilitator TBC - please e-mail susanna.broom@york.ac.uk if you're interested in offering or contributing to a session in this area.
