Quality Assurance

  • To consider quality and standards issues relating to teaching and learning.
  • To liaise with relevant national QA organisations.
  • To foster the sharing of best practice and encourage institutional good practice.

The Quality Assurance Practitioner Group is both a sounding board and a national forum for the exchange of views, opinions, information and good practice. It also provides a unique opportunity to cross-examine those who are dictating the pace and content of national developments.

The Group operates a member-led email forum and holds three meetings each year to discuss key quality issues. Each Institution registered with ARC can nominate up to two representatives for the Quality Practitioners Group. Additions or changes to the representatives should be made by the ARC Institutional Representative via the ARC website; the Secretary is unable to amend the list of representatives themself.

The Group will hold three meetings in 2019/20:

Friday 29 November 2019 - The London School of Economics and Political Science

Monday 9 March 2020 - De Montfort University, Leicester

The dates for the Summer term meeting is still to be confirmed.

More details on the content of the meetings will be published nearer the time.
